Bihar STET 2025 Notification – Last Date Extended to October 5, 2025.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released an official notification for the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for teaching posts in secondary and higher secondary schools of Bihar must qualify this examination.

Bihar STET 2025 Important Dates

  • Application Start Date: September 19, 2025
  • Last Date to Apply (Extended): October 5, 2025
  • Admit Card Release: To be notified
  • Exam Date: To be notified

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Paper I (Class 9–10): Bachelor’s degree with relevant subject + B.Ed.
  • Paper II (Class 11–12): Master’s degree with relevant subject + B.Ed.
  • But B.tech in CSE are elligible for Paper II (Computer Science). 

Age Limit

  • Minimum: 21 Years
  • Maximum: 37 Years (Male), 40 Years (Female)
    (Age relaxation as per Bihar Govt rules)

Application Fees

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹1,440/ - (Both Papers), ₹960/- (Single Paper)
  • SC / ST / PH: ₹1,140/- (Both Papers), ₹760/- (Single Paper)
  • Payment Mode: Online (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI)

Vacancy Details

Bihar STET 2025 is conducted for two papers:

  • Paper I → Classes 9–10 Teachers
  • Paper II → Classes 11–12 Teachers

(Subject-wise vacancies will be notified by BSEB.)

  1. Register with your valid email ID and mobile number.
  2. Fill the application form carefully.
  3. Upload scanned documents (Photo, Signature, Certificate). In this step if you are not able to       customize photo you can visit https://image.pi7.org/resize-image-in-cm then upload image. 

  4. width = 3.5, and height = 4.5 and mark the checkbox then write size greter then 80kb to 200kb then click on Resize Image button => download and upload the image.

  5. Pay the application fee online.
  6. Submit the form and take a printout for future use.
